4. Our Fear Free Approach

At The Strand Vet, our team members have undergone Fear Free training, equipping them with the skills to reduce fear, anxiety, and stress during your cat's visit.

By focusing on both your cat's physical and emotional wellbeing, and giving them the time to care they need, rather than rushing through appointments, we create a calmer, more positive experience for every patient.

Better Care
Our Fear Free approach, combined with longer consultation times, helps your cat feel safer and more comfortable. Taking the time to care means our team can provide gentle, compassionate care tailored to their needs, without the stress of feeling rushed.

Better Medicine
When cats are relaxed, examinations are more accurate. Reduced stress can lead to more reliable vital signs and a better clinical assessment, helping our veterinarians provide the most appropriate diagnosis and treatment for your feline companion. That's why we build time to care into every consultation.
